Howard Morris, Senior Partner

Howard is the Firm’s Senior Partner. He joined the firm in 1967 as an Articled Clerk. He obtained an LL.B. (Hons) Degree from Sheffield University in 1966 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1969.
Howard has a keen sporting background, particularly in water sports and Rugby League. He has had a long association with St. Helens RLFC having been a Director since 1990 and Chairman from 1998 to 2002.

Amanda Woods, Partner

Amanda qualified as a Solicitor after completing her studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her expertise is in Wills, Probate and Trust work. As well as a keeping busy in the office Amanda regularly travels the local area to visit clients who are unable to leave their homes and attend the office. In addition to a busy career Amanda enjoys a young family who together are keen campers and mountain bikers.


Alan Preston, Partner

Alan qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and set up his own practice in 2008; prior to this he acquired significant experience working with two of the region’s leading firms. Alan merged his practice with Frodshams in November 2014, creating a new litigation department for the firm. Alan’s expertise lies in litigation and employment law. Alan’s litigation practice comprises all aspects of commercial disputes, property disputes, wills and probate disputes, professional negligence and debt recovery. Outside of the office Alan enjoys spending time with his family, getting out on his mountain bike and the occasional game of golf.

Jayne Riddick, Practice Manager

Jayne has been with Frodshams since joining as a Secretary in 1976. She subsequently trained as a Legal Executive and has worked in the Practice as a Conveyancer. She became Practice Manager in 1996 and has responsibility for our IT development.

Tracey Egerton, Conveyancing Fee Earner

Tracey joined the firm in 2011.

Tracey has worked in the conveyancing field since 1986 starting as an office junior; working her way to Conveyancing Fee Earner.

In her spare time Tracey enjoys walking her dogs, cooking and reading and is also a keen Manchester United fan.
